Furuno DS 80 Doppler Speed log – Features:
Furuno DS 80 shows the ship’s speed relative to water, using the Doppler principle. It measures its own vessel speed by detecting the Doppler shift frequency from the signal returned from the water mass.
The output can be interfaced with ARPA, AIS, and other shipborne apparatus.
